This Gluten Free Caramel Apple Cream Cake is made with layers of buttery cake, spiced tender apples and caramel cream cheese made with our super easy caramel sauce.

It takes some time since the apples are cooked until it’s tender. The end results is surely an awesome reward!

Day 5 of Everything Apple Recipe is this Gluten Free DUTCH Apple Bread. Made with chopped fresh apples, topped with buttery crumb and drizzled with vanilla glaze. This little treat has everything you would want for an Apple Bread. We also added chopped nuts to the crumb that can easily be omitted.

Apple Bread Batter:
½ cup plus 2 TBS softened butter
1 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs large
½ cup milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups Hand + Heart Gluten Free All Purpose Flour
½ tsp salt
1 ½ tsp baking powder
1 ½ cups green apple diced & peeled
½ cup walnuts or pecans chopped

Dutch Crumb Topping:
5 tablespoons cold butter
1/4 cup plus 1 TBS Hand + Heart Gluten Free All Purpose Flour
1/2 cup finely chopped walnuts or pecans
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

Vanilla Glaze:
3/4 cup powdered sugar
4 teaspoons milk (or more for preference)
1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract

¼ cup buttermilk

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/4 teaspoon allspice

3/4 teaspoon cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon salt
